Reports
of Microsoft acquiring Sony.
The reports that stated tech giant microsoft has acquired sony
corp , including Sony’s gaming division Playstation in an astounding $130
billion deal turned out to be false.
The report,
initially published by Spanish portal ‘Microsofters’ and translated into
English by EN24 News, also stated that the deal entailed Microsoft acquiring
various divisions of Sony Corp including Sony Pictures, Sony Music, PlayStation
divisions, mobile phone division, its patents, and its camera and TV divisions.
What made the report sound convincing, or at least somewhat convincing, was the
mention of Microsoft’s VP of Gaming, Phil Spencer.
What also could have spurred on a few
people to get the story online quickly is the fact that Microsoft has recently
acquired gaming developer Bethesda Softworks, for $7.5 billion. The acquisition
made Microsoft the sole decision-maker in the company that has been responsible
for popular video game franchises such as Wolfenstein, The Elder Scrolls, Doom
and Fallout, reported BGR.in.
The news later turned out to be fake.
An acquisition
of this level would require tons of regulatory approvals that don’t happen
overnight. It takes years of negotiations for such a big deal to get sealed.
However, no such reports have surfaced in the recent past.
Also, even after
hours that the news broke, neither Microsoft nor Sony have released a statement
-- via a blog or social media -- about this acquisition. Further, no major
media house reported picked up the news. These three factors indicate the
report to be fake.
The ‘leak’
that came from a Spanish portal ‘Microsofters’ and translated into
English by EN24 News stated that Microsoft Corporation had acquired rival conglomerate
Sony Corp in an astounding $130 billion deal.
The report also stated that the deal
entailed Microsoft acquiring various divisions of Sony Corp including Sony
Pictures, Sony Music, PlayStation
divisions, mobile phone division, its patents, and its camera and TV
divisions. What made the report sound convincing, or at least somewhat
convincing, was the mention of Microsoft’s VP of Gaming, Phil Spencer.
But as it turns out, the report is fake.
Simply said, Microsoft has
NOT acquired Sony.
There are many things that make the
latter sound more reasonable than the former. Firstly, when the news broke, no
major media platform picked the story that could easily have been the story of
the year. Exchange4Media did pick the story up but the publication deleted it
later. Secondly, even hours after the leak, neither Microsoft nor Sony have
released a statement -- via a blog or social media -- about this alleged
acquisition. Lastly, an acquisition of this level would require tons of
regulatory approvals that don’t happen overnight. Safe to say that the news is
indeed not true.

Samsung Galaxy S21 release date, price
will
reportedly launch its Galaxy S21
series on January 14 globally, and on January 29 in India. Apart from the
device launch, the company has officially announced that it will be launching
its next-gen Exynos chipset
on January 12, which is expected to power the Galaxy
S21 series in countries like India.
Ahead of the official launch, a number of leaks and rumours regarding the devices has already taken over the internet. All of these leaks and rumours have provided us with a good look at the series’ design and specifications, as usual. However, if you have not been keeping up with these and want to know everything about Samsung’s next-gen flagship series, keep reading.
Samsung Galaxy S21 series: Three
smartphone models
For some time now, during its Galaxy
S-series launches, the company has been launching three smartphones
and this time it’s no different. Samsung will be launching the regular
Galaxy S21 along with a larger Galaxy S21 Plus and the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Many reports are stating that the company
will also be launching a Galaxy S21 FE, to follow up on the success of the
Galaxy S20 FE. However, it will launch this mid-range premium flagship during
the second half of 2021, just like the Galaxy S20 FE.
It is also being said that the company
could launch a Galaxy S21 Mini to take on Apple‘s latest iPhone 12 Mini,
which currently has a lot of interest from people who like smaller smartphones.
According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Galaxy S21
will start at Euro 849 (approximately Rs 76,206), Galaxy S21 Plus will
start at Euro 1,049 (approximately Rs 94,158) and the Galaxy S21 Ultra
will start at Euro 1,399 (approximately Rs 1,25,574).
WinFuture and
tipster Evan Blass via Voice have both
separately leaked the marketing images of all of the three upcoming
smartphones.
The Galaxy S21 will be made available in
four colour options Phantom Violet, Phantom Gray, Phantom White and Phantom
Pink, while the Galaxy S21+ would be made available in three colour options
Phantom Violet, Phantom Gray and Phantom White. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will only
be made available in Phantom Black and Phantom Silver colour options.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will feature a quad
camera setup on the back inside of the new metal camera module housing along
with a laser sensor and an LED flash module. Apart from that, the Galaxy S21
Ultra will be the only phone in the series to feature a curved display. Both
the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ will feature flat display panels, similar to the
Galaxy S20 series.
All of the devices will come with a
punch-hole design to accommodate the front camera. Both the Galaxy S21 Plus and
the Galaxy S21 Ultra will feature a triple camera module on the back with a
metal housing similar to the S21 Ultra.
According to WinFuture, Galaxy S21 will
sport a plastic back, whereas, both the Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra
will sport a glass back. All of the new Galaxy S21 series smartphones will
feature a curved back design.
The renders do not showcase a slot for
the S-Pen in the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which was being claimed in earlier reports.
We will just have to wait and see about this.
All of the devices will run Google‘s Android 11 operating system with
the company’s own One UI 3.0
skin on top. They will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor in the US and
select regions, whereas by the upcoming Exynos 2100 in India and rest of the world.
Samsung Galaxy S21 will reportedly sport
a 6.2-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be backed by a
4,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The Galaxy S21 Plus will
sport a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be backed by a
larger 4,800mAh battery with support for fast charging. Both the Galaxy S21 and
Galaxy S21 Plus will feature a triple camera module on the back, consisting of
a 12MP ultra wide angle sensor, a 12MP wide angle sensor and a 64MP telephoto
lens.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra will be the largest

will feature a 108MP quad camera setup on the back and will be backed by a
4,885mAh battery. On the front, it will sport a 40MP sensor for taking selfies.

S-Pen and that the company is looking to end its Galaxy Note lineup of devices
this year.
Top 5 Android Game On 3 GB RAM
1 PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
The mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, popularly
known as PUBG, one of the most played PC games of 2017, is now available on
Google Play Store and App Store. Developed by Tencent Games, a subsidiary of
Chinese tech company Tencent, in collaboration with Lightspeed & Quantum
Studios, the PUBG Mobile has been optimised very well for the smaller screen.
It doesn’t feel clunky during game sessions and is surprisingly smaller in
size—the Android version needs just 777 MB of space to install (the PC version
takes up 15GB of space). It is a multiplayer game and works best on WiFi networks.
When it comes
to gameplay and visuals, developers have remained true to the PC version.
Players can adjust frame rate and screen resolution for the best experience.
There is an Ultra HD mode too for smartphones or tablets with 4K screens.
Powered by Unreal Engine 4, which has been used to build console games such as
Bioshock and Gears of War 3, PUBG Mobile is one of the best looking shooting
games on small screen.
2 . Asphalt
9 Legends.
Good game, if you
have the time for it. Otherwise, a really frustrating game. If you can’t
devote more than 2 hours per day, i would advise you not to download this game.
If you were someone like me who played
Asphalt 8 first before Asphalt 9 trailers were even released, you would
probably have known of the issues people had with A8. To put it simply, it was
a time consuming game, which, became a lot easier if you purchased stuff in the
game.
For me, when I was first introduced to
Asphalt 8, I was in college, doing my engineering studies. It was, most
certainly, the wrong time for me to get addicted to this game. Exams were a
month away, and here i was, palying this game for hours every day.
It was, strangely enough, also a good
time to be introduced to the game. At that time, the competition killer cars
like SLK special edition, Audi R8 etron special edition, etc….were not in the
game yet. The game was somewhat balanced, with a variety of cars to choose
from, in every race, and still having a good chance of wining the race.
3.Modern Combat 5: Blackout.
Gameplay in Modern Combat 5: Blackout is
similar to previous entries in the series. The player can shoot, crouch,
sprint, throw grenades, aim, reload their weapons, leap over obstacles, knife
enemies, change/pick up weapons, and use abilities supported by the equipped
class. A new key feature to Modern Combat 5 is the ability to
choose soldier classes ranging from Assault, Heavy, Sniper, Recon, Support,
Bounty Hunter, Sapper, X-1 Morph, Kommander, and Marauder. Each of which has
its own different perks and weapons), although a player's class does not
prevent the player from picking up different classes' weapons in-game. As the
player continues in certain classes and acquires a "weapon score",
new guns and attachments to use in both the campaign and multiplayer are
unlocked. Modern Combat 5 is the first Modern Combat game
in the series to use DRM and requires a constant internet connection to play
(an internet connection is required for the campaign as well as multiplayer).
One major change in the campaign of Blackout,
compared to previous Modern Combat titles, is that the
missions are shorter. A mission can last five to ten minutes, noticeably
shorter than missions of previous entries. Modern Combat 5: Blackout also introduces
allies, characters who follow along with the player, often joining in
during conflicts.
Like Zero Hour, the campaign missions in Modern Combat 5:
Blackout vary in style. The game is primarily a first person shooter, but
missions include controlling turrets on boats, helicopters, and even drones.

audio immersion.

2,300 decals to take down your opponents with style.
5.Gangstar Vegas.
Gangstar Vegas is a third-person open-world
action-adventure video game; the graphical perspective is capable of being
panned. The game world may be traversed on foot or by vehicle. It is structured
similarly to previous games in the series and by extension, to Grand
Theft Auto and its numerous "clones". Pedestrians can be killed, primarily in order
for the player to get collectibles, and vehicles can be destroyed. The overall
game world is much larger, with Gameloft marketing it as "Gangstar's largest open world". In addition to the
main story missions, players can freely roam and/or partake in several
side-activities like gang wars, bank robberies, street racing and underground fighting tournaments.
Property management is also present, allowing the player to gain income through
businesses acquired during the course of the game. In keeping with the game's Las Vegas theme, casino minigames such as video poker, blackjack and slot machines were also introduced, along with several
establishments such as a nightclub and convenience stores.[1] There are over 80 missions[2] consisting of action, shooting, racing, and thefts. The player can join "parties" in the
gang wars with flamethrowers, Molotov cocktails, grenade launchers, and many more lethal weapons.

• How do exams affect students mental health?
Exam stress can lead to many different mental
illnesses, like depression and anxiety, panic attacks, low self-esteem,
self-harming and suicidal thoughts and worsening of pre-existing mental health
conditions.
Is mental health becoming a serious issue in
exam students
According to
school report of BBC It has become an increasingly worrying issue that the
contents of the new exams has burdened students with an abundance of
unnecessary stress, which may have a detrimental effect on their mental health,
both now and in the future. With 29% of the 201 teen suicides in 2014 taking
place whilst waiting for exam results, or the exams themselves, (information
from a report on the BBC website), the focus is now on creating a positive
place to air issues and concerns.
People are
beginning to try and tackle this issue in many different ways. A good example
of this is the ‘Gregathlon’, in which Greg James will be completing several
challenges: including climbing the three highest peaks in the UK and cycling
the 500 miles between them. So far, Greg has raised a mountainous amount of
£739,425! Since last year, the money raised by Sport Relief has helped by funding
more than 50,000 adults and young people in full time education living in the
UK with mental health problems.
Having
interviewed a current 6th form student who is now doing her A-level courses.
But this interview talks about their perspective on the GCSE’s when they were
in Year 11.
Do you think
students are being supported enough throughout exams?
“I think
there is support within school, however it isn’t necessarily accessible to
students who aren’t already registered within the student welfare system and if
there is access to it you have to wait a while and often you can only see them
once because of their schedule.”
Do you think
the amount of stress put on students with the new exam system is fair?
“I think
that the amount of stress put onto students is unnecessary but it also depends
on your home life because personally my parents didn’t put much stress on me
but I know that some students have the added stress from their parents. As for
teachers, I think especially if you are a high achiever, the teachers put more
pressure on you. Even if they try not to, there’s always an expectation for you
to achieve a certain amount.”

Most
students experience significant amounts of stress, and this stress can take a
significant toll on health, happiness, and grades. For example, a study by the
American Psychological Association (APA) found that teens report stress levels
similar to that of adults.
That means
teens are experiencing significant levels of chronic stress, and that they feel
their levels of stress generally exceed their ability to cope effectively.
Roughly 30% report feeling overwhelmed, depressed, or sad because of it.1
Stress can
affect health-related behaviors like sleep patterns, diet, and exercise as
well, taking a larger toll. Given that nearly half of APA survey respondents
reported completing three hours of homework per night in addition to their full
day of school work and extracurriculars, this is understandable.
