PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole. The game is based on previous mods that were created by Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene for other games, inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale, and expanded into a standalone game under Greene's creative direction. In the game, up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill others while avoiding getting killed themselves. The available safe area of the game's map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.

The mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, popularly known as PUBG, one of the most played PC games of 2017, is now available on Google Play Store and App Store. Developed by Tencent Games, a subsidiary of Chinese tech company Tencent, in collaboration with Lightspeed & Quantum Studios, the PUBG Mobile has been optimised very well for the smaller screen. It doesn’t feel clunky during game sessions and is surprisingly smaller in size—the Android version needs just 777 MB of space to install (the PC version takes up 15GB of space). It is a multiplayer game and works best on WiFi networks.

When it comes to gameplay and visuals, developers have remained true to the PC version. Players can adjust frame rate and screen resolution for the best experience. There is an Ultra HD mode too for smartphones or tablets with 4K screens. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, which has been used to build console games such as Bioshock and Gears of War 3, PUBG Mobile is one of the best looking shooting games on small screen.

2 . Asphalt 9 Legends.


Good game, if you have the time for it. Otherwise, a really frustrating game. If you can’t devote more than 2 hours per day, i would advise you not to download this game.

If you were someone like me who played Asphalt 8 first before Asphalt 9 trailers were even released, you would probably have known of the issues people had with A8. To put it simply, it was a time consuming game, which, became a lot easier if you purchased stuff in the game.

For me, when I was first introduced to Asphalt 8, I was in college, doing my engineering studies. It was, most certainly, the wrong time for me to get addicted to this game. Exams were a month away, and here i was, palying this game for hours every day.

It was, strangely enough, also a good time to be introduced to the game. At that time, the competition killer cars like SLK special edition, Audi R8 etron special edition, etc….were not in the game yet. The game was somewhat balanced, with a variety of cars to choose from, in every race, and still having a good chance of wining the race.

3.Modern Combat 5: Blackout. 



Gameplay in Modern Combat 5: Blackout is similar to previous entries in the series. The player can shoot, crouch, sprint, throw grenades, aim, reload their weapons, leap over obstacles, knife enemies, change/pick up weapons, and use abilities supported by the equipped class. A new key feature to Modern Combat 5 is the ability to choose soldier classes ranging from Assault, Heavy, Sniper, Recon, Support, Bounty Hunter, Sapper, X-1 Morph, Kommander, and Marauder. Each of which has its own different perks and weapons), although a player's class does not prevent the player from picking up different classes' weapons in-game. As the player continues in certain classes and acquires a "weapon score", new guns and attachments to use in both the campaign and multiplayer are unlocked. Modern Combat 5 is the first Modern Combat game in the series to use DRM and requires a constant internet connection to play (an internet connection is required for the campaign as well as multiplayer).

One major change in the campaign of Blackout, compared to previous Modern Combat titles, is that the missions are shorter. A mission can last five to ten minutes, noticeably shorter than missions of previous entries. Modern Combat 5: Blackout also introduces allies, characters who follow along with the player, often joining in during conflicts.

Like Zero Hour, the campaign missions in Modern Combat 5: Blackout vary in style. The game is primarily a first person shooter, but missions include controlling turrets on boats, helicopters, and even drones.

Exam stress can lead to many different mental illnesses, like depression and anxiety, panic attacks, low self-esteem, self-harming and suicidal thoughts and worsening of pre-existing mental health conditions.

Is mental health becoming a serious issue in exam students

According to school report of BBC It has become an increasingly worrying issue that the contents of the new exams has burdened students with an abundance of unnecessary stress, which may have a detrimental effect on their mental health, both now and in the future. With 29% of the 201 teen suicides in 2014 taking place whilst waiting for exam results, or the exams themselves, (information from a report on the BBC website), the focus is now on creating a positive place to air issues and concerns.

People are beginning to try and tackle this issue in many different ways. A good example of this is the ‘Gregathlon’, in which Greg James will be completing several challenges: including climbing the three highest peaks in the UK and cycling the 500 miles between them. So far, Greg has raised a mountainous amount of £739,425! Since last year, the money raised by Sport Relief has helped by funding more than 50,000 adults and young people in full time education living in the UK with mental health problems.

Having interviewed a current 6th form student who is now doing her A-level courses. But this interview talks about their perspective on the GCSE’s when they were in Year 11.

Do you think students are being supported enough throughout exams?

“I think there is support within school, however it isn’t necessarily accessible to students who aren’t already registered within the student welfare system and if there is access to it you have to wait a while and often you can only see them once because of their schedule.”

Do you think the amount of stress put on students with the new exam system is fair?

“I think that the amount of stress put onto students is unnecessary but it also depends on your home life because personally my parents didn’t put much stress on me but I know that some students have the added stress from their parents. As for teachers, I think especially if you are a high achiever, the teachers put more pressure on you. Even if they try not to, there’s always an expectation for you to achieve a certain amount.”

     What are the symptoms of exam stress?

Symptoms of exam stress may include:

3.   Having trouble making decisions.

4.   Losing your appetite or over eating.

4.   Avoid junk food–it provides a sudden burst of energy which will disappear, leaving you feeling worn out.

5.   Eat a well-balanced diet.

6.   Reward yourself when you achieve your study goals, such as watching an episode of your favourite TV show or going for a run.

8.   Stay focused on your study; try not to get distracted.
